Book Tour

Gentle reader,

In case you missed the last post, I’ve joined the CFBA blog tours, but unfortunately didn’t get to read the current book, which Mrs. Frugal here will definitely have to look for at the library, along with Dandelion Dust. So here’s what a fellow founding member of the Lost Genre Guild, Dan Weaver, had to say about it.

The Election by Jerome Teel – Review

Who doesn’t love a good, fast-paced thriller? Oh, come on, you know you do. Well, Jerome Teel’s debut novel, The Election, shouldn’t disappoint. After hearing author John Grisham speak in one of his law classes at the University of Mississippi, Teel was motivated to write his own novel. His inspiration? A desire to tell a story about the impact that individuals with a worldview can have when they become involved in local, state, and national politics.
In the climax of our electoral season, Howard Books couldn’t have picked a better time to release Mr. Teel’s debut novel.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR :

Jerome Teel is a graduate of Union University and graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law. He is a full time attorney who is actively involved in his church, local charities, and youth sports.

The Election is his debut novel about faith and politics. Jerome and his wife, Jennifer, have three children and reside in Tennessee, where he is at working on his next novel.

The book: THE ELECTION

They seek ultimate power.

Nothing
can stand in theirway.
Ed Burke has waited a lifetime to become president of the United States. He’s not about to let his nemesis, Mac Foster, stop him now…especially when he’s sold his soul for the Oval Office.Claudia Duval has lived a rough life. And finally, things have turned around for her after meeting the wealthy Hudson Kinney. But is all what is seems?

When a prominent citizen is murdered in Jackson, Tennessee, attorney Jake Reed doesn’t want to know the truth. He just wants to get his client off. But as he investigates, he uncovers a sinister scheme. A scheme that would undermine the very democracy of America…and the freedom of the entire world.

The Election, by Jerome Teel, is a fast-paced, highly readable mystery filled with suspense, intrigue, and political conspiracy. Teel skillfully weaves together themes of faith, family, suffering, and providence in a way that not only compels, but enlightens.”
